From small, cozy bars in neighborhoods like <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Psirri<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Koukaki<\/span><\/span> to beautiful rooftop bars with views of the illuminated queen: <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Acropolis<\/span><\/span>, there are options for every taste.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">People in Athens usually start their night late and often move from one bar to another. Whether you want a relaxed drink, a cocktail with a view, or music and dancing, the city offers something for everyone!!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7940 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_0235-1440x1901.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"531\" height=\"701\" srcset=\"https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_0235-1440x1901.jpg 1440w, https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_0235-300x396.jpg 300w, https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_0235-1164x1536.jpg 1164w, https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_0235-800x1056.jpg 800w, https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_0235.jpg 1550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 531px) 100vw, 531px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"text-align: center;\">You can find bars to have fun in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">every single small neighborhood<\/span> but there are some of them that are more popular.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Let me give you some examples:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Syntagma<\/span>,<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> Monastiraki<\/span> <\/strong>and <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Psirri <\/span><\/strong>areas in the city center have plenty of options. Check around Kolokotroni street too and Agia Eirini square.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Examples: Bank Job, Drahmi, Ipitou the bar, Clumsies, IDEAL, The 7 Jokers, Drunk Sinatra, Bless me Father, The Bar in front of the bar. Juan Rodriguez and Barrett in Psirri are great too. Zuka is an elegant high end restaurant with live show and singers!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There are magnificent <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">rooftop bars<\/span><\/strong> (that you can also have a lunch\/dinner) with amazing views of the city &amp; Acropolis hill. Located mainly in Monastiraki &amp; Syntagma.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Examples: A for Athens, Taratsa, Thea Terrace, Ermou 18, Ciel, Bios, Ergon House, Attic Urban, Zillers, Anglais, City Zen, 360 Cocktail bar, etc<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7946 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_8076-1440x2561.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"570\" height=\"1014\" srcset=\"https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_8076-scaled.jpg 1440w, https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_8076-300x533.jpg 300w, https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_8076-864x1536.jpg 864w, https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_8076-1152x2048.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_8076-800x1423.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Kolonaki<\/span><\/span> <\/strong>is one of the most elegant and upscale neighborhoods in <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Athens<\/span><\/span>, known for its stylish boutiques, cafes in Tsakalof street (and not only) and lively nightlife. The area is full of chic bars where locals and visitors go out for drinks, including spots like Rock &#8216;n&#8217; Roll Athens, Forte, Zurbaran, Bronco, Kissa (Japanese gastropub but great vibes for drinks!), Minnie the Moocher, Poco a Poco and so many more! <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Angel&#8217;s tip:<\/strong> <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">One of my favorite parties in Athens during winter are the afternoon parties in Rock &amp; Roll from 17:00 till 22:00 pm. Then they close to reopen again for night!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Koukaki <\/strong>full of cute meze restaurants and bars that locals choose. Examples: Tiki bar, Bel ray, Spirtokouto.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Exarcheia<\/strong>: Very vivid area with many Greeks and great bars &amp; restaurants. Examples: Warehouse, Sousourada, Kobra, Tziz, Falaina, Gamay wine bar, Agios for very late night drinks.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pangrati <\/strong>with many bars, locals and great vibes. <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Angel&#8217;s tip:<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Some great ones for drinks that locals prefer are Profitis, Agave, Hippy3, Secta, Tre Sorelle, Mpriki etc<\/span><\/span>\n<div id=\"attachment_7942\" style=\"width: 516px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7942\" class=\"wp-image-7942\" src=\"http:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_5623.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"506\" height=\"673\" srcset=\"https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_5623.jpg 1022w, https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_5623-300x399.jpg 300w, https:\/\/explorewithangel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_5623-800x1064.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 506px) 100vw, 506px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-7942\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Agave bar in Pagrati<\/p><\/div><\/li>\n<li><strong>Petralona <\/strong>which is a more industrial area and you can find bars like Line, Opupa Epops, Klouvi etc<\/li>\n<li><strong>Piraeus:<\/strong> Another huge area of the capital next to the sea as the main port of Greece is here. So many incredible options for all the tastes either in Mikrolimano, Kastella, Marina Zeas or Trouba etc. Examples: Tony&#8217;s, Rockfellas, Charlotte. <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">Angel&#8217;s tip: <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">One of my favorite places in <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Piraeus<\/span><\/span> for drinks with food and live music is &#8220;Stou Thoma&#8221;. It\u2019s a lively spot where you can smash plates for a fun and authentic Greek night out. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Kerameikos <\/strong>(Gazi) where you can find bouzoukia (with live music &amp; Greek singers) and night clubs (like Lohan) apart from the usual bars. Examples: Beauty killed the beast, Kerameio, Momix. <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Angel&#8217;s tip:<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">A great one for drinks and cabaret show with impressive artists is &#8220;Parfait&#8221;, I really enjoyed it!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Chalandri &amp; Vrilissia:<\/strong> In the north side of Athens is full of options as well. Examples: Forget about it, Darling, Mockingbird&#8217;s bar, Mr Peacock, White monkey, etc. <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Angel&#8217;s tip:<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">I love Lolita&#8217;s in Chalandri on Saturdays during winter with live music and dancers!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Glyfada <\/strong>city and<strong> Vouliagmeni<\/strong> close to the sea, vivid throughout the year and crowded during summer months. Examples of bars: Pere Ubu, Nuera, Opus, Rumors, Charlie etc<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nea Smirni <\/strong>area with many bars around the central square.
