Metsovo is one of Greece’s most beautiful mountain towns, built on the slopes of the Pindus Mountains. Think stone houses, wooden balconies, cobbled streets, traditional tavernas, local cheeses & wine and a completely different side of Greece!
HOW TO GET THERE
From Ioannina: ~50 min by car
From Thessaloniki: ~2-2.5 hours
From Athens: ~4.5-5 hours
Nearest airport: Ioannina National Airport, around 50 km away
A car is definitely recommended if you want to explore the surrounding villages and nature.
